Samsung Galaxy M16 5G And F16 5G: Pricing And Specs Leaked

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G smartphones have had their pricing details leaked just days after their support pages appeared on the company’s official website in India. Both models will be available in three storage variants: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB, with dealer prices set at INR 13,499 (~$154), INR 14,999 (~$172), and INR 16,499 (~$189), respectively.

After an INR 1,000 discount, the effective prices are expected to be INR 12,499 (~$143), INR 13,999 (~$160), and INR 15,499 (~$177).

The Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G have already received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, along with approval from the WiFi Alliance certification authority. Additionally, the Galaxy M16 5G has secured EMVCo certification and appeared on the Geekbench database. Render images of both devices were also leaked online.

These models are expected to share identical specifications, featuring MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor paired with an ARM Mali G57 MC2 GPU and 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. The smartphones will sport a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

For photography, both devices will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. They will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired fast charging.

Other notable features include dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz) with Wi-Fi Direct support, dual SIM connectivity, and a variety of color options, including Blue, Deep Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Light Purple, Orange, and Dark Green. With these specifications and competitive pricing, Samsung aims to strengthen its presence in India’s mid-range 5G smartphone market.
