Butter Swim Biscuit Bread
This butter swim biscuit bread is a favorite, soft, buttery, and baked in one pan. An easy recipe perfect for breakfast or dinner.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons white granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 stick or 8 tablespoons butter melted and divided

Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add buttermilk and stir with a spoon just until ingredients are all wet and come together.

Spray a 9 x 5 bread loaf pan with cooking spray.

Add 1/4 cup of the melted butter to the pan and swish it around to cover bottom and sides of pan.

Add the remaining melted butter to your bread batter and stir with a spoon to incorporate into batter.

Pour batter into loaf pan and spread.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 35 minutes or until center tests done.

Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Makes 1 loaf.
