Some Roku users experiencing issues with Pluto TV

Pluto TV is one of the most popular FAST streaming platforms in the US. It is home to over 250 free live TV channels and thousands of on-demand movies and TV shows. However, some users trying to watch Pluto TV on their Roku devices have been having issues lately.

First reported on Reddit, some Pluto TV users are having trouble getting the app to work on their Roku, such as the app freezing, stuttering, or refusing to load at all. All these issues can be extremely frustrating if you’re just trying to sit down and relax and watch some TV.

Pluto TV may not work on your Roku device due to several issues, such as an outdated app or Roku system software.

First and foremost, before you do anything, double-check that Pluto TV isn’t having an outage. You can quickly check its website (pluto.tv) and see if it works there to check. Second, double-check your internet speed by running a speed test. To do this, you can simply just Google search “speed test” and run it from your browser. Pluto TV recommends having 5MB of download speed to work. If your internet is running slower than that, it could be why Pluto TV isn’t working on your Roku.

Updating the Pluto TV app and Roku System Software

1. Go to Home.

2. Choose Settings, and then System.

3. Select System Restart and then Restart.

Remove Pluto TV and reinstall it

If the Pluto TV app on your Roku is still having issues, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device.

1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.

2. Highlight the Pluto TV app on your screen.

3. Press the star button on your remote.

4. Select Remove channel.
