This Round Steak and Gravy is a hearty dish your family will love. Easy to make and wonderful over rice or mashed potatoes.

If you are a fan of this hearty recipe, you will want to try this Crock Pot Roast Beef, too. It’s been a family favorite for many, many years.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love how simple this recipe is; it doesn’t take much prep work. You do need to sear this steak in the skillet first, but that doesn’t take long. Then, you add it all to the crock pot and let it cook. We are a big fan of the onion/mushroom flavor, and this round steak is delicious.
SWAPS
If you are not a fan of carrots you can simply leave them out. You don’t have to add the mushrooms if you don’t like. I also think you could easily switch the beef broth for chicken broth if that is all you had on hand.

⭐TIP
Don’t skip the step of browning the steak with the flour mixture. That is a needed step. This dish would be wonderful over rice or egg noodles.
DON’T FORGET
The cornbread… it’s a must with this delicious recipe. We love this Southern Fried Cornbread or our wonderful Cornbread Muffins. Both are perfect for this dish. Add butter to both and ladle the gravy over. So good!
